Visual Power Index (VPI)

We, Founding Fathers of Visual Power, realize that as a start-up company in a capitalist world there is only so much we can do in changing the world. But one thing we cán do, is being transparent.

Transparent about the way that we manufacturer our cloths, treat our people and determine our price.

Transparency is inseparable from Responsibility. Responsibility that we want to take for the footprint we leave on earth and society.

Sustainability is the key here. Sustainability in the sense of environmental impact, but also human resource valuation.

We, as a brand, do not want to be part of the Fast Fashion industry. Instead, we want to build a community that is united through responsible decisions about fashion.

It is exactly for this reason, that we introduce the Visual Power Index.
A product specific overview of said product’s societal and environmental impact, accompanied with an overall product score.

The VPI is honestly obtained from the data that is publicly available and evaluated using the necessary common sense. It can therefore be audited anytime, anywhere.

We don’t know” is an honest and possible outcome in the VPI, but is in our eyes no different than a deliberate violation of virtues, and therefore graded as such.

With this tool, we want to provide customers with all the information they need in order to make an informed and responsible decision. An ultimate, albeit little (for now), attempt to change the way we value clothing.

We still have a way to go as a brand, but we do what we can with the resources we have. On top of that, we set ourself the ambitious goal to be a straight VPI 70 (maximum score) company before 2025!

See this as our way of standing by our values and taking responsibility. We hope to see you join us in our mission: to see and to be seen!
